Often, as we look to the Old Testament, we paint the Israelites with rebellious hearts. We see a people prone to wander and depart from the Lord to pursue their own desires. If we are honest, we'd recognize that we have the same tendencies. We reject the Lord, his kindness, and his provision because we love the world. Thankfully, Numbers shows us that in spite of our dissatisfaction and sin, God is faithful to save his people. Let us rejoice this morning- salvation does not come from our work but Christ Jesus' work on the cross.
